Hello and welcome to the media
center
My name is Evelyn Engram and this year marks the beginning of my
6th year as media specialist
here at Coppinville. Prior to coming to the media center, I taught
Science for 19 years down the hall and 1 year near my hometown of Clanton,
AL in a little rural community called Verbena, AL. I received a B.S.
in Biology and a MED in Biology and Library
Science from Alabama State University.

Upcoming Events
I will sponsor a
Book-Of-The-Month Club this year. If you enjoy reading, as much as I do,
and would like the opportunity to share your thoughts and fellowship with other
avid readers about your favorite books, then the Book-Of-The-Month Club is for
you. Clubs meet every 1st Wednesday of the month and will start in
October, so sign up and I'm forward to our first meeting.
Our first book for the book club
this year is "How To Eat Fried Worms", by Thomas Rockwell.
I will do a project on
research skills and persuasive writing through the Health classes. Students will
receive a grade for this activity.
